The Association of Separation Scientists and Technologists (ASSET)

The idea of having a scientific body for the separation scientists and technologists in India was conceived during the concluding session of DAE-BRNS symposium on "Emerging Trends in Separation Science & Technology (SESTEC)" in 2004. The Association of Separation Scientists and Technologists (ASSET) was formally registered in 2008. The main activities of the Association are:
1. To organize symposia / seminars / theme meetings.
2. To bring out thematic bulletins.
3. To encourage young researchers through support and prizes.

In a short span time, ASSET has gained confidence of leading researchers from India as well as abroad.
